Her culinary career began at an early age baking Greek delicacies for Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Dayton, Ohio for its annual festival. She honed her chef skills in professional cooking and baking at the New School of Cooking in Los Angeles and often returns her family’s home on the south coast of Crete to indulge in the local flavors.

She has served as a travel correspondent for Forbes Travel Guide and as the online editor for Where Magazine/SoCalPulse.com in Southern California for over a decade, documenting the thriving restaurant scene in and around Los Angeles. She continues to write for their suite of publications and also pens freelance food and travel pieces for a number of other publications.
